In 1979, the Spirit of God led me to turn on my television. I saw a Caucasian man teaching and the Lord said, This is your new teacher.

I thought this was strange because I was accustomed to listening only to African-American Baptist preachers. But I knew that this was the Spirit of God speaking to me, so I began to listen to your broadcast and received great revelation from your teaching. I was so hungry for the Word, I began listening daily and became a Partner.

In 1988, I told the Lord that one day I would send your ministry $1,000.

Since that 1979 broadcast, God has baptized me in the Holy Spirit, helped my husband and me and our three children pioneer a church (which will be celebrating 11 years in June!), blessed us with overseeing three other churches in North America, and we just returned from our sixth apostolic trip this year to Trinidad and Tobago. The Lord has also honored me in being the co-host of a large, yearly prophetic conference, and has helped me author my first book! We have established a Christian academy grades pre-K through high school and we send ministry teams into the prisons weekly.

I am now sowing the promised $1,000 into your ministry. Before 1979 I did not believe that a woman could accomplish any of this but you and Gloria taught me differently!
