Your Privacy Matters To Us

At Kenneth Copeland Ministries, we value your trust. We collect only the information we need, use it for the reasons you expect, and protect it with utmost care. Below we explain exactly how.

Who We Are

Kenneth Copeland Ministries Europe (KCM Europe, “we/us”) is the regional European office of Kenneth Copeland Ministries (KCM USA).

We are responsible for looking after the personal information of people across Europe. In legal terms, that makes us the “data controller”.

The Information We Collect

You directly provide us with most of the personal data we collect. Depending on how you connect with us, we collect:

  • Your name and contact details
  • Postal address and/or country
  • Payment card and/or bank details
  • Donation and/or purchase history
  • Communication history
  • Email preferences
  • Prayer requests (sometimes containing sensitive personal information)
  • Gift Aid eligibility details
  • Call recordings
  • Website usage data

We always aim to collect the minimum information necessary to provide our ministry services to you.

We collect this information when you:

  • donate
  • place an order
  • request prayer
  • contact us by phone, email, or post
  • sign up for updates and subscriptions
  • become a Partner
  • register for an event
  • apply for a role

Sensitive Personal Data

Some information is considered sensitive personal data, including anything that reveals your religious beliefs, health, race, or ethnic origin.

When you request prayer, you may share sensitive information. We pray over every request and commit to praying daily for our Partners.

We treat this kind of information with the utmost care and use it solely for the purpose of Christian ministry. We do not record the specific details of prayer requests, and prayer-related correspondence is deleted as soon as we have prayed over it.

If your prayer request arrives attached to a physical financial record that we must keep for audit purposes, we separate the prayer details from the financial record wherever possible. Where that is not possible, the combined document is stored with our financial records for up to seven years and then securely destroyed.

Call recordings are deleted automatically after 30 days. If you prefer your call not to be recorded, simply let our team member know at the start of your call.

If you are a church pastor or leader and partner your church with KCM Europe, we collect your church details to stay in touch and support your church’s partnership with the ministry.

We collect details about any health concerns of any job applicants and visitors to our office in Bath so that we can make any reasonable adjustments for them.

How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to deliver the services and communications you request, such as prayer support, teaching updates, product delivery, and event participation.

These activities enable you to engage with the ministry as a Partner, donor, attendee, or subscriber, and help us operate effectively in fulfilling our mission.

We only use your personal data when we have a clear reason to do so under UK/EU data protection law.

Consent

In some cases, that reason is your consent, when you have specifically asked us to.

For example:

  • You subscribe to specific newsletters
  • You ask us to pray over your prayer request
  • You choose to share a testimony publicly

This consent is granular and specific. For example, you can unsubscribe from one subscription without affecting others, or from all communication from KCM Europe.

Contract

In some cases, we use your data to fulfil a specific contract with you.

For example:

  • You place an order, we process your payment and deliver your items
  • You register for an event, and we reserve your place and send joining instructions

Legal Obligation

In some cases, we have a legal obligation to keep and process your information. For example:

  • To meet financial record-keeping rules
  • To claim Gift Aid with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC)

Legitimate Interest

In some cases, we use your data in ways that are helpful to you and support the work of KCM Europe. These uses are in our legitimate interests, where the use is reasonable, expected, and does not cause you undue harm. We always consider whether our interests are fairly balanced with yours.

For example:

  • You call the ministry, and we record the audio to monitor and improve our service
  • You become a Partner, and we contact you about your partnership and offer you free partnership products
  • You order a product, and we follow up about your purchase and suggest related items
  • You fill out a form on our website, and we check your email and postal address for errors to prevent delivery issues

How We Store Your Information

We keep your information only as long as it is needed.  Where information is no longer required, we securely dispose of it.

  • When you give or place an order, we must keep your personal information and transaction history for 7 years
  • Processed prayer requests are deleted immediately, unless the request is inseparable from a financial record that we are legally required to keep for 7 years
  • Call recordings are deleted after 30 days
  • Testimonies are deleted after 5 years
  • We retain unsuccessful job applications for 12 months and keep employment files only as long as legally required

Some information is kept indefinitely until you tell us otherwise. For example, if you are subscribed to our newsletter, we will retain your details until you choose to unsubscribe.

If you have asked not to hear from us, we will keep only the minimum information needed to honour that request and meet any legal requirements.

We take care to protect your information using appropriate physical and digital security measures.

If you use your payment card or bank details to donate to us, or buy something online, we pass your payment details securely to our payment-processing partners as part of the payment process. We do this in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and do not store the payment details on our website or databases.

Who We Share Information With

KCM Europe will share your personal data with trusted service providers (data processors) who help us carry out the work of the ministry — for example, to send emails or handle donations. These organisations only act on your data under our instruction, and we only share what’s needed for the task at hand.

Here are the main types of data processing partners we use and why:

  • Customer relationship systems: to manage contact details, giving records, and communication history
  • Email platforms: to send newsletters, respond to queries, and manage subscriptions
  • Payment processors: to securely process donations and orders
  • Post and fulfilment partners: to send magazines, letters, and parcels
  • Call systems: to answer and record phone calls
  • IT and infrastructure support: to keep our systems running smoothly
  • Data validation tools: to ensure email and postal addresses are accurate
  • Event platforms: to host online events and manage registrations

Overseas Transfers

KCM Europe processes personal data in the United Kingdom. When working with suppliers and contractors, we will always endeavour to process personal data in the United Kingdom or another geographical region that meets the standards laid out in the UK & European data protection law, such as the European Economic Area (EEA).

Where it is necessary to transfer your information outside of the UK or EEA, we’ll make sure it is properly protected and meets UK/EU privacy standards.

KCM Europe is a separate legal entity from our headquarters in the United States, KCM USA. We only share personal information with them if you give us separate consent to do so — for example, when you submit a testimony.

If we link to the KCM USA website or on our website or emails, we will always make it clear that you are visiting a separate legal organisation.

Cookies & Similar Technologies

Cookies and similar technologies are used by websites to place small text files on your computer when you visit them. We use them to:

  • Protect against malicious or fraudulent activity
  • Remember how far you are through an order
  • Log you in to your website account
  • Display videos hosted by an external provider

You can see a full listing and manage your preferences here: CookieYes Preferences.

We use a privacy-focused tool to understand site usage without tracking individuals or requiring cookies.

When we send you emails, we include a small tracking pixel that tells us if you opened the message or clicked on a link.

Your Rights

UK/EU data-protection law gives you specific rights over your personal data. These include the right to:

be informed about how we are using your data

  • get a copy of the personal data we hold about you (known as a subject-access request)
  • have any mistakes or inaccuracies corrected
  • request deletion of your personal data
  • ask us to limit how we use your data in certain situations
  • object to our processing of your data (including profiling)
  • data portability: if we process your data based on your consent or a contract, you can receive the personal data you provided to us in a structured, commonly-used and machine-readable format. You have the right to ask us to transfer it directly to another service provider where technically feasible, but this is unlikely to be relevant to your relationship with KCM Europe.

If you want to access your data, correct something, or ask us to delete or stop using it, just get in touch. You can contact us in any way that suits you — phone, email, or post.
